Sales Executive

The Sales Executive, will be responsible for direct and indirect sales of the OrionVM CloudDC platform. This individual will be a true strategic seller with a clear understanding of navigating complex selling environments while effectively utilizing both internal and external resources to produce results.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close business opportunities with high client satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed company sales revenue, margin, and associated quarterly targets.
  • Deliver product overview and technical presentations utilizing the supporting cast – whether in-person, by phone, or via web conference.
  • Work closely with customers to understand and resolve the technical and business challenges with scaling their infrastructure, building rapport, and becoming the trusted advisor.
  • Manage complex evaluations and POC’s to successful results.
  • Determine success criteria as defined by the customer and manage internal resources to successfully complete expectations

Qualifications

  • Professional sales experience with large-account management background in related technologies.
  • Ability to manage technically complex sales engagements.
  • Domain expertise in web datacenter environments with core competence in database, storage, virtualisation, and/or server technologies.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in relative technologies.
  • Strong presentation, written communication, and selling skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the a results-driven approach and the ability to operate in both team or independent roles.

Desirable

  • Ability to successfully validate technology in focused Web 2.0 and Enterprise computing infrastructure
  • Competence to understand and complement current products with expanded market/application reach into vertical applications (Web 2.0, Enterprise 2.0, Financial Services, Biotech, Geo-spatial Information Services, and related applications).
  • Strong customer relationships in pertinent markets that translate into trust, ethics, and relevant technology evangelism.
